Hi as i write more GWX Missions i will keep adding them to the Real WWII Convoys Upload in blocks of five.

I can also write same Missions for LSH-2015 if Subsim Members would like me to same format with all authentic ships names from those Convoys and the escorts even having their Pennant No's eg HMS Snowdrop (K 67)

just give me a heads up

My old dream is to write an HX-239 convoy, but I don’t have time for this.

Hi Anvar1061 old friend Re Convoy HX-239

Work in Progress printed off the Convoy list from Convoyweb then did some spade work getting the escort pennant No's even for CVE Escort Carrier HMS Archer (D 78) https://www.uboat.net/allies/warships/ship/5809.html
Convoy HX-239 41 Merchants 24 Escorts that will be one hell of a Mission

keep safe eveyone keep your beer fridge full and hunker down in your mancave

Hi Anvar1061 old friend Re Convoy HX-239 Finished and added it to the SH3-GWX Real WWII Convoy.
Making the Mission a challenge but not a overkill suicide Mission ive had to do plenty of testing.
I also put Convoy Airpatrols in the Mission using Avenger Aircraft armed with 2 x 250kgs of bombs.
with CVE HMS Avenger in the area you would have close in Air support.

Just when i thought i had escaped out of the back of the Convoy a Blackswan Sloop came a hunting me could that be classed as Blue on Blue.

Yes, it would be grand to see of making these available for LSH3-2015 as well...

Would also be grand to see (if doable, to maybe see of being able to add them into the campaign mode... do know that it would be work to do so... but to get orders to patrol & sink shipping in convoys going that route would be awesome...

Not only for SH3, but as an add in to SH4 Operation Monsun (am sure Fifi could see of maybe adding this in to his OM+OMEGU compilation...) just a thought...

Sorry I dont have CCom10.0 but if CCom10.0 as the same ship roster as GWX so just like stock SH3 missions would work in GWX then the missions should work with CCOM10.0

But will be starting writing LSH15 versions of these Missions

You can do it yourself using the Wreford-Brown help and turning on your brain

https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/sho...80&postcount=1

The method:
1. Enable the ship model through JSGME.
2. Start SH3 and ensure the ship appears in the Museum. This will give you your first error check - if it appears in the museum then you're good to script it in.
3. Copy my .mis file to your desktop
4. Find your campaign_SCR file (default location is 'C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Campaigns\Campa ign\Campaign_SCR') and copy to your desktop. This will act as a backup in case anything goes wrong
5. Open SH3 Mission Editor at 'C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\Sh3MissionEditor'
6. Select 'Open (Normal Mission)' or use shortcut [Ctrl-O]
7. Open: 'C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Campaigns\Campa ign\Campaign_SCR'
8. Select 'File'
9. Select 'Merge'
10. Check the 'Mark merged data as saveable' box
11. Select 'OK'
12. Open my .mis file on your desktop
13. Select 'File'
14. Select 'Save Scripted Layer As'
15. Save in: 'C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Campaigns\Campa ign'
16. File name 'Campaign_SCR'
Start SH3 and hunt her down!

Theres also the Steel Sharks GWX Campaign with 600 plus Convoys all written in the Scripted Leyer

SC and HX Convoys October 1940 - December 1941 similar numbers of Convoys at Liverpool Gibraltar and Freetown
with headsup radio messages in the Campaign.

For my edumacation, is there a technical reason why the .rnd file wasn't/isn't being used ?
