Been on a diet since December 2018; have lost 45 kg. I'm now trying to improve my overall fitness by trying to run 2.5 km in 16 minutes.

Just remember that if you stop doing what you are doing that it is like you never did it at all

I use to walk 18 miles a day and lost a lot of weight, but that was in the 90's

Felt great, felt fine, but now it's like I never did it at all gained the weight back, have diabetes now, plus aches and pains with no one to listen to them.

New diet no salt, no sugar, no alcohol, get up every twenty minutes and exercise my back from sitting too much (at least till spring).

So go for it ... make us all proud of you

For the rest of us eat drink be merry for you never know about tomorrow

Late lunch today, two crumpets topped with fresh corned beef.

Stuff that tinned swill, fresh is best.

Day off today after this weeks madness at work.

^ Sounds good... I love crumpets (they must be Warburtons) and corned beef, so I'd like to try that.... Moira just said to me it's "Just wrong"

That's jury service all done and dusted. I found it much more interesting than I thought it might be and it certainly brought back quite a few memories.

Made it back home last night, and just woke up from a 13 hour nap. I was a bit exhausted, lol.
Good thing i took today & tomorrow off to recuperate.

Following on from the recent completion of a SupaLite tiled roofing system on the conservatory (nobody realised the added 62mm insulation would render the existing vertical blinds too long) a new set of blinds were fitted this morbing meaning swmbo will be in a positive mood when she returns home from granddaughter sitting.

I might just chance my luck and ask her if she is willing to pay for an Indian curry tonight

Imagine my situation as Nancy Lady had all her bottom teeth pulled today!

I did try to convince her I could do the work to save some money but for some reason She wasn't game.
