That one exactly. The character is a legend and the true story is amazing. Take a piece of garbage and rework it into the greatest movie ever. That's my kind of remake!

Fair enough.

I'd remake "The Longest Day" and "A Bridge Too Far". Shoot on location (Europe be damned) and keep the effects as real as possible. Bring as many advisors on as possible to do justice to both those Operations. Make it as brutal, honest, and un-Hollywooded up as possible. I think that would be great fun and give some of these indoor cats a taste of what it's like sometimes when you are brave enough to go outside.
