Yep, I've encountered quite a few battleship TFs and cruiser TFs in the med. Two of the best grids in my experience are CJ75 and CN22. Until 1943 I've found zero convoys and the merchants are C2 or smaller for the most part, mods notwithstanding. After the Torch landings the action picks up considerably. Good hunting.
