The torpedo depth is for 2 things:
1) if you want to use magnetic pistol, you want the torp to go just under the ship. The damage is greater. 2) if you are attacking a ship with an impact pistol, and the ship draft is 7, and the Weather is horrible... a few calculation can be made to hit your target at the right depth. |
