So I assume you're hitting "M" to check your messages?

At least you get messages. I can't remember the last time I got one. I'm running the same version with no mods.

Don't forget that heavy/lite radio mod, adds a few more messages!

Look for 'Radiolog 1233' and 'Radiolog lite'. The difference is the lite version only gives you procedural signals. The full version has many distress calls and u-boat reports. If you have your game set to go to normal time anytime you get a radio message, the full version can get annoying. Me, I love it. |

I remember when I was in training it was like 'follow the radio messages closely!" and I kept getting them, but never knew about 'm' so just kinda sat there wondering when my Radio Guy was gonna mention things to me.

In the vanilla game there are to few messages, but in GW there are way to many! I think I hit a radio hot-spot near Gibraltar, and got hammered with messages. Strangely my boat keft floating although we had 30 tons of handwritten messages onboard.

Be aware, though: 1) The messages are real, but do not pertain to the game at all; they are just there for flavor. 2) You will find your Time Compression dropping to 1 many many times every patrol day. |

"M" was my problem. I now can get my messages. I'm also going to try the link for more messages to see what this offers. I do appreciate your quick responses. I wound up playing till 4 a.m. this morning. Enjoy! PHeberer |
