While its a cute story, it is always a bad idea to try domesticating a wild animal. That includes squirrels, wolves, badgers, cougars, moose, coyotes, hawks, you get the idea.

See... this woman wouldn't like me very much.

When I see a squirrel burying nuts out in the yard, I wait till it's done, and gone.

Then I go fry up a grilled cheese sandwich.

Then I dig up the nuts, and replace it with the grilled cheese.

Then I wait till spring and they start rooting around for their nuts. I set up my camera to capture the looks on their faces when they discover the acorn has magically transformed into a grilled cheese sandwich.

This lady probably wouldn't appreciate me putting grilled cheese in her hair.

Of course, you never know.....
