Diving back into SC and 688

SC from Steam & Naval pack is probably 1.08 and SCU/DWX is not compatibile.

edit:

Hmm i don't remember exactly what version is needed for SCU/DWX - probably 1.07 but im not sure for 100%
I will check it soon, maybe tomorrow.

Yes the SCX/SCU patching utility that modifies the sound files requires 1.07. However you can still install it on the Steam Version but won´t have crew voices when using new playable subs.

I think having no voices is still better than the ugly mouse trails you will get with the CD release of SC but if somebody finds an ultimate solution, please let me know.

After installing SC 1.08 and SCX/SCU i cannot launch game. With exec from 1.08 i can but game crashes after changing weapon on Akula
