When playing GWX3 (amongst other mods), I have actually little additional stuff loaded:
- Conus Widescreen Mod - SH3 Commander + special GWX files for it - Enhanced Damage Effects - Music in game (music for intro screens and menus) The mod is clearly focused on campaign with a behemoth of 500+ pages manual. For me it makes no sense to load additional mods that may hamper the gameplay and screw the mod in some way. I have never completed a full campaign with this mod, so I cannot judge how good it is overall, and this would be a pre-requisite for me to say "The mod needs more stuff loaded". First you play the stock game, then the mods. You don't mix a mod soup right at the beginning before knowing the game well - unless you must correct bugs. And I've seen no bugs in GWX3, it's very stable, maybe the most stable mod for SH3. |
