1943 and I have gotten a Fumo-30, but it's useless because I don't know how to use it, I can tell the radar man to do a few sweeps with it but once he reports a radar contact it's just an angle, and I haven't figured out how to get him to give me an update once he has said that one thing.
That and I have no idea how to use it manually make it useless to me. I tried searching around for a guide, but I couldn't find one. |

There's that vertical scale on the radar screen. Watch the radar blips position on the scope and the corresponding range read-out and there you have it. Range is also seen at the rotating number display under the scope.
In case you look at the scope, watch also which radar mode you have active so you can view the right scale.

No prob mate. ![]() I agree with you about the radiomans laziness. It really isn't realistic for sub commander to use radar by him self to get accurate information.
