HUD Display Issue?

Do you have an additional copy of default/hud/default.txt in your override folder that might be being used instead?

Your default.txt file should look like this for that section:

Ahhh..
I feel stupid...

I was editing the layout.txt file and not the default.txt file...

Since I had a bunch of 'enhancements', uninstalled the game and reinstalled with the new update, since most of the scenario mods would not work with the new update. Clean slate so to speak..

who produced Cold waters? Judging by these complaints about bugs, it must have been Ubisoft?????

These bugs mainly concern heavily modded installs. Here you see devs helping people to fix their games which isnt something you see daily.
