I had enjoyed playing Microsoft's Combat Flight Simulator II: Pacific Theater and I was specifically looking for a submarine simulation PC game. I searched on amazon.com (in spring 2005) and discovered that SH3 had come out, read some reviews, and bought the software in June 2005. I had hoped that my home computer would have enough power to play it, but I was sorely disappointed. Rather than give it away or throw it out, I held onto it until Feb 2006 when we purchased a more powerful computer. After replacing the pre-installed MicroCenter graphics card with a middle to low end video card, I started playing and have become addicted.
