Played the 1984 campaign took me 9 missions to get to the end. Won the war but why so short? I only had one failed mission. I have played 2 other times (one loss one win) and it went longer than 9 missions. Does anyone know are the campaigns just random and does your performance determine the length?
Thanks Andrew |

I think the way it works is that you score points based on Mission Successes and tonnage (not entirely sure how it works), but a final mission is triggered once you reach a certain amount of points.
And a campaign will last longer on higher difficulty levels now. |

Well i did ''beat'' the 84 campaign with the narwahl (boomer escaped...) in like 5-6 missions.
Now I am doing a sturgeon one and I have .5 mil tons and over 15 successfull (only) missions but still no dough. Next mission is a TLAM strike though maybe the one after that is the boomer one. Still, I have already destroyed Archangelsk with SF and sunk half the capital ships of the Red Navy, and thwarted 3 landings. I mean. What have the russkies left? What is the campaign scoring mechanic? Can you estimate how close to the final boomer mission you are? |
