(was running as Admin and in a non-protected directory .. non steam version). The only thing that changed was Win10 updating to the Creators Ver 10.0.15063, and that was the problem. Neither SH4 or SH5 runs on Win10 Creator 10.0.15063 ... you have to run it in Win8 compat mode Going to post in case it can help others ...
