So, basically, what you're saying here is that the US would be a lot better if each individual state was its own country with its own military? ![]() Reminds me of someone else here who argued that countries should be abolished down to the individual town and city state. Sure, on paper that might seem alright, but history doesn't work that way. |

No i'm saying that there are real downsides to surrendering ones independence. Some benefits as well but liberty once given away is difficult to get back.
