Jeff, I think Windows 8.1 and 10 will run SH3, 4, and 5 if it's the 32 bit OS... at least better than the 64 bit version. I can't run any of them with the 64 bit version. I've even reinstalled XP for playing SH3, 4, and 5. None loaded yet but 3 should be this weekend. Remember, SH3 was built to run on an XP 32 bit system. XP 64 bit had to be finessed to get it to run properly.
What I need to do is get 8.1 32 bit installed on a HDD and see what happens. I'm even thinking of going to Windows 7 32 bit and getting rid of 8.1 altogether. I also have found software from LapLink called PC Mover Ultimate that will let you "transfer" programs from one computer to another without having to reinstall them and use a key code.

SH3 & SH5 are running fine on Windows 10 64 bit for me. I ran SH3, SH4, and Sh5 all on Windows 7 64 bit too. Only thing I had to do was NOT install in the Program Files or Program Files (x86) folders where the UAC would mess with them, and patch the .exe with the 4GB patch, and away I sailed.
