What i cant understand is why it started happening now, i have allways opened my tubes the same way, and it dint happen before.
I will try the methods you suggested. As some of you suggested, I guess the obvious way to fire more than one simultaneously would be to use the salvo feature! There are two reasons i dont use it: 1 - There is some diabolical bug in my brain that makes me allways forget to set the spread angle, so i end up watching my torpedoes pass in front and behing the ship ![]() 2 - Firing one at a time, i get twice the morbid pleasure of pressing the Fire button. ![]() I guess it would be best to post a sticky on my monitor, or get a tatoo that says "set the spread angle!" And start using salvos LOL BTW, i notice some people give tought to wich tubes they are going to fire, i usually just select 1&2. Is there a reason i should fire the tubes in a particular order (e.g. 2 & 4 or 1 & 3, etc)? Thanks for your replies guys |

I don't like the fan shot just because I have the impression to suffer a premature detonation of one eel more than often.
Shoot any sequence of tubes, there is no rule to follow. But you may want to consider the speed settings of the loaded torpedos - in repeated single mode as especially in the fan shot mode.

Reason I am selective about tubes is simply a matter of what kind of eels I have loaded. Typically I will have 2 air and 2 electric loaded at any given time, or alternatively a 3-1 config.
Which one(s) I choose depends on range, weather, time of day/light, etc beside type of target. For destroyers I use electric almost exclusively, for merchants and less maneuverable warships I prefer the reliability of the air torps. As for salvo/single, I almost never use salvo mode when fireing. I only use salvo to open the selected doors before going back to single shots. Main reason for using single shots, for me, is I can then aim more precicely at different parts of the ship for greater chance of a quick sinking. |
