Was also told it is the same teachers who could not see the difference between "holly" and "holy"

Until some month ago, I had only read about the lack of knowledge our teachers have. I have never thought it would happen to my own Niece-having a English Teacher who is lacking a lot of English knowledge

If English isn't the teachers first language I could understand a bit of confusion. I grew up west of the Mississippi and sometimes I need a translator when I visit relatives in Boston. .

I do tend to trip my tongue when trying to pronounce some words in English
but after a long day work when I have to switch between Dutch, Spanish, English, German(Shut it Schroeder ) a bit of French and Italian it can be quite the car crash when it comes to my pronouncing of words in any language.

Mapuc, the English word 'calm' sounds very close to the Danish word 'karm'

Get a new teacher, preferably one that has not studied at the Donald Duck School of English
