Default New version of the PlayersDB

We've released a new version of the Harpoon3 PlayersDB.

Why have we done this? Why not just continue to add new platforms to PlayersDB 5.9.7 like we've always done?

Well, we've made a few changes that have the potential to affect pre-existing scenarios. For example, if we doubled the range of a missile, this change won't crash any pre-existing scenarios. However, it may affect their balance or how they run.

Rather than run the risk of messing up someone's work, we've released a new version. Just continue to use the PlayersDB version specified by the scenario designer and everything will run exactly as written by the author.

Get the PlayersDB 6.4.9 on HarpDB, PlayersDB Depot, or StrategyZoneOnline.

Additions include:

A comprehensive mine model has been added. Mines can now be swept by minesweepers and helicopters.

Many thanks to Rene Haar and Thomas Kaup, Kriegsmarine (ret) for their assistance in creating the mine platforms.

- countless changes and improvements guaranteed not to crash any earlier scenario built with the PlayersDB
