Interesting point whether Scapa is worth it?

If you have done it before then maybe not.

But for a first timer I would say yes it is worth doing.

Various decisions to be made.

What time should I start my approach?

Which entrance.

Where I do I start looking for it.

Will I have enough battery.

Is the weather going to help me?

Personally I like to do Scapa and have tried 3 of the entrances.

Episode 11 was quite gripping and immersive.

Cant wait to see what happens in episode 12.

The scapa bugged out destroyers are annoying . Sometimes they are not bugged out . Its hard to get your head around the no tonnage bar mod . OK , there is no tonnage anymore , forget clicking on the iron crosses on the navmap . You went to the bunker and requested the Eastern British coastal waters mission . If you look on the Captains log you can see your current objectives . EBCW has objectives that require you to patrol an area for 48 hours . This will need to be done without exiting the game or the time will go back to zero (bug) . Sink any ships in EBCW to get renoun and skill points . While you were still on the EBCW you went to Scapa and sunk some capital ships . Nothing wrong with that , you got some tonnage and probably renoun and skill points . However you were still on the EBCW mission , which doesn't matter afaik . You need to go back to the EBCW waters and finish patrolling . Look at the Captins log to see that you havnt finished the first patrol area , remember that you need to patrol for 48 hours without exiting the game . Another patrol area objective will be sent to you . If is correct afaik . The object isn't tonnage anymore , its upgrading your boat and crew and staying alive . They don't call it the happy times for nothing , it wont stay that way .

Found an old B&W movie (1958) on YT about Günther Prien and the sinking of the Royal Oak. The interesting thing about this movie is that I think many of the scenes were actually filmed on a real U-boat and not a movie set mockup, although not confirmed in the credits. Language is in German and is well worth a look.
