This is what I did. please let me know if this is a problem.
1) I uninstalled and deleted everything SH3. Everything. 2) I reinstall SH3 but it would only install into program files (86X). I install anyway, go into ubisoft file, and move silenthunter file into c:\games file. 3) I install GWX which now goes into c:\games file on its own. 3) I install sh3 commander that now goes into c:\games file on its own. I do quick test which takes me into the harbor and it seems ok. Does moving the file instead of installing the file effect gameplay? The last time I tried this I copied my program(86X) silenthunter file into c:\games, deleted the PF(86x) and the frame rate was horrible. seems ok now. Any one have first hand experience with this type of issue?

I've never had to move that file. When I installed it to my new computer I created a new set of folders in the following path: C:/Steve's Stuff/Games/UBISoft/GWX (because that's what I chose to name the folder for my SH3 installation. Any installation using another supermod will get a folder with that name path. I could just as easily have called it SH3). When SH3 installed I used the 'Browse' function to find that folder and it installed with no problems. When I installed GWX itself I did the exact same thing. Again no problem.
I could be wrong, but I can't see anyone having any troubles doing something similar.
