Default It's called ambiance

No, sir. You are not the only one who enjoys a stride through the sub at times. It is a pity they haven't put more into the dialogues. Not all crew discussions need to impact the game.

I even bought wi-fi headphones so I can go about my house and still listen for alerts from the bridge.

I don't have the time to play much any more. These days I am enjoying a bigger experience. I'm playing out the whole war using board games that I have collected.

While that takes time too, most of it is done with spreadsheet and data files and, of course, maps. I'm playing solitaire, so don't need a set up.

My war is currently in July 1940 with fighting going on in Norway, Holland, and France has actually invaded Germany.

I guess that's nerdy and geek too.

Hey raymond6751!

I too need to carefully plan my free-time, don't have alot of it either.

I just hate the times when I've spend all evening or, even worse, the whole day on finding, bought, installing and tweaking a game (PC-game that is) just to find out it's either crap or just isn't my bag. The games I've appreciated the most are those who doesn't feel like a game, if you get my point. I have very high standards, and have become very picky in choosing games worth spending time on.

Boardgames seems like great fun! I play 'em too, but only in digital versions, so to say. Paradox Entertainment (Sweden's finest) has developed a number of game series that is somewhat equal to a real boardgame experience. Hearts of Iron, Europa Universalis, Victoria is highly recommended. As well as Command Ops - Battles from the bulge. Check these out

Great idea about the wifi-headphones! Will definitely get one of those, thx!
