cant get to sh5!!!

hey guys, when ever I try to play sh5 it wants me to log in to uplay, but after I login the uplay launcher crashes and its frusterating

! PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi avers

I do not know if anyone will have a better idea.

In the control panel as well as uninstalling SH5 also uninstall the Ubisoft Game Launcher.

Don't forget to use a registry cleaner and then reboot.

When you install again you should not install in x86 program folder.

The installation will put the Ubisoft Game Launcher in the x86 program folder.

After the install it will open up Uplay for you to log in.

You will need to update your game to v1.2 before starting your game.

Best I can do.

I'm using the gold Edition is that updated to 1.2?

ugh I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and uplay still crashes after I log in!

I was able to get into uplay but its asking for an activation key but I downloaded this from amazon and I did't get an activation key. what do I do!!!!!!!

Go back to amazon and open your "Game and Software Library". There you can see the game-download and the key.
After download and installation you still have to update to 1.02.

Ok I got to the game is it the correct version it says on the top right corner 1.2.0. Is that correct?

1.2 is correct...now get jgsme and start getting mods. the vanilla version of the game is very limited. the next question is usually what mods....well everyone has diff ones. check out all the threads and pick what you like.

Any solution to the Uplay issue? I installed this on a new computer after not being able to play it for a year or so. I need to register it again, but it's getting frustrating that the problems still apparent at launch are still present.

I seem to remember that when I launched the game with administrator rights the launcher did not crash.

(right click on the icon and select 'Run as administrator)

Yeah uplay is working and it was admin rights.
