After you run Patch_SH3.bat, you should have two sh3 files in the folder. One should be sh3.exe (the newly patched version) which should show the SH3 icon. The other should be sh3.old (your original file that the patcher backed up) and should show the Windows document icon. Somehow, Patch_SH3.bat is not putting the patched SH3 in the working folder. I have no idea why not. It may not be creating the patched version, or it may be creating it and putting it somewhere else. In either case, I don't know why or how to fix it.

Could your Patch_SH3.bat be corrupted? Have you refreshed that file from the original download .7z file? Did you unpack the download .7z with 7-Zip? 'Cos any other unpacker (like WinZip) will think it knows how to unpack a .7z, but will give you junk. (I am just WAGing at this point.)
