I have done a couple of school exchanges with the Brits, e.g. here: http://www.kingswood.bath.sch.uk/ to prevent further wars.
To my school exchange student I once have sent an Official Royal Quuen postcard where I had coloured one of her theeth black, so that she looks like Alfred E, Neumann from "Mad"-Magazine. That did not came good. The US guy who was a son of a jet fighter pilot phoned home: "Mum, Dad , the Kraut's are here at Kingswood School, Bath" http://www.kingswood.bath.sch.uk/old-kingswoodians/
