Former Sussex dustman saves WWI photos

I am surprised that Sussex Council have not jumped on him to hand them over, stating that it is ALL their property as it was in the trash...

A similar thing happened up here years ago (before internet) and the guy was charged with theft of council property.

Good point...I don't doubt for a second that is what they would have done if the property had a tangible known value.
