Would be cool to have the change of scenery on the old F7 key.
Your wish is my command Kpt. lehmann.
I am away from my pc now but will upload tomorrow.

I have gone for the blue myself, I found the red a bit too dark. I will make some tweaks to the light and light sources and possibly put a version 2 up later in the week.

Thanks for the kind words

I was its founder / project manager. As far as development goes, I had mountains of help from a great many good people. The real credit belongs to them.

Well then, this is a great day for me....a bit like meeting an idol I guess.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you most sincerely for giving me and all of us a sim that has delivered many years of enjoyment.
You should be very proud of yourself and your achievements.
I have placed the opening story of GWX on a load page I created in an attempt to pay homage to your work and those who aided you.

A great day for me to speak with you and the fact you are interested on using one if my mods is a great honour ,

Thank you once again for GWX and the enjoyment I have gleaned from it all these years

Kindest regards
John

I actually stumbled across those load screens yesterday.... it surprised me and brought back a lot of good memories. Very cool.

Here are the three coloured screens.
The red and blue are pretty dark but ai will probably mess around with the intensity later and release a less coloured / darkend one.
There is also a plain one in there too, in case you might like to try that instead of the intense ones.

Hope you like them and will try them and offer some feedback

I'm currently using the first version of the "damage control screen" you posted and ATM it is the one I like the most, because the "background theme" (tools, uboat schematics) is in tune with the screen purpose.
Also, the red and blue one are too dark for my taste. I like them but cannot ignore the feeling of being in the night hours they convey to me: so, for me, it would be a bit weird to look at one of this screen during daylight hours.

Anyway, outstanding job, sir!

Thanks for your comments banryu79, much needed input. Yep I know what you mean. Partly the reason I put the plain one on there too, as it offers another screen but not a dark one.
Thank you for taking the time to comment and thanks for using my mod

Hi Johnfb. Thanks for uploading the new crew management screens. Both the red and the blue are very cool.

As far as feedback goes, I don't think I can add anything new beyond the observations made by yourself and banryu79. The blue version makes for a more "Das Boot" movie feel, but makes the black text difficult to see. In my opinion, the red version is more realistic and the black text is more easily visualized.

All that being said, both are very cool. I just wish there was a way that those graphics could be changed automatically in-game at sunset.

Good stuff, man!

Yeah I agree Kpt.
I have redone the blue and red with less intensity as , yes, the text was difficult to see. I will upload shortly and members can have a look and see if they want to try them out.
I have also redone the screen with the schematics and tools with blue prints and sepia tones drawings and will pop that one up too.
At the moment I am layering the tools into the background so hopefully it wont take tool long to finish.

Yes it would be cool if it could be attached to the game to change with times...but... maybe thats one for you in the future....

Honoured for your input !!

Exactly the same thing I wished
Between the red one and the blue one I will go with the former: that, for me, would be perfectly in tune with the reddish dusk-to-dawn lights in the sub

Thanks Banryu, heres the revised colours, less intense and less saturated, and the light is more direct and tunnelled coming in from the right ,showing a lot more of the brown desktop. I left a hint of the blue light in the bottom righthand corner of the red screen to warm it up a bit.
Will upload to DL section shortly.
