It seems to me with SH5 once the game gets to a certain size it doesn't matter if you have 2 , 8 , 16 , 1000 gigs of ram . The game ctds . That's why I took out non core files like the interior files from my mod list . This is just speculation . Maybe someone who knows about computers and memory has some explanation . Maybe it has nothing to do with it . Your computer system is a thousand X better than my one . I have entered Scapa many times with no ctds .
Take these 4 out and load your last save game .

00000063 18.75437164 [5692] silentmichal's interior mod 1.2.4=5

Thanks for the thoughts sober. For clarification purposes I can enter scape without issue - I exited the game and them went back in after some time and tried to continue the game with "continue campaign" and then with "load game" when "continue campaign" gave me a CTD.

I've got 16 GB of ram...it seems insane that the game would use more than 4-8 (unless there is a memory leak).

I see the last few lines of the log show some sort of uplay activity. I was playing in offline mode but it also occured online. I do use a VPN but I can't imagine that's the issue.

Yep, Sober you are absolutely right here
I also realized this a few months ago.. we can't use all mods what we want.. we just forgot one important thing.. this application (sh5.exe) is a 32-bit application, and it can't use more than 4 GB of memory.. so, when the game or rather all installed mods require more than 4 GB of memory then the game crashes.. and we can do nothing with it.. I think no one will make this application 64-bit based.. it's too complicated and time-consuming for one person..

My SH5 data folder is 6.74 gigs with my mega mod list if that means anything . Stock without any mods is the same size . That's why I have a lot of file reducing mods in my list .

I think it doesn't matter how big is game's data folder.. mods contain many scripts and other files which require to use more RAM.. e.g. NewUIs, you know what I mean - how long game loads when only this one mod is installed compare to stock loading process..

Do the file size reducing mods hurt visual fidelity?

I don't see how file size would correlate. Remember, its ONLY loading saved games that i get a CTD - i was able to run the game fine for about 2 - 3 hours earlier today. Besides, it doesn't seem to be exceeding 1.6 gb or so per task manager. Every time i get this CTD it ALWAYS has the same last lines about some uplay token crap....could that be causing the issue?

Quick Edit: I am able to load back into my last bunker save...NOT saves on patrol. Makes zero sense.
