Am I the only one who gets a strange pop-up window asking for a password and authentication when I come into this thread?

On my PC using Firefox, yes I get it. On my tablet with chrome, no I don't.

I'm using Firefox on a PC and there is no pop up.

No, you're not. The cause is a link to an image in sqk7744's signature, which is missing an image called "http://www.compuglobalhypermeganet.tv/images/sh4/pride%20runs%20deeeep.jpg", which is prompting for a username and password.

I'm getting the pop-up with firefox..

My Firefox is configured to not permit pop-ups, or targeted advertising, or tracking. My cache is set to 0.

I have an extension named, "DoNotTrackMe Online Privacy Protection 3.1.1038" made by Abine Inc.

I wasn't getting any pop up........... until, after refreshing this a few times in another tab the pop up appeared!!!! ....... I X'd it to close.

Weird.

I remember a few years ago that same pop-up appeared - but I haven't seen it until just now while writing this post.

Good, I was worried it was something for me to be concerned about.

I'm not getting it now.
