Thanks red october . So I am looking on steam and it seems in order to get updated to 1.5 I need to purchase the U-boat missions. Can anyone confirm? I ask because I believe the mods I am going to run are set to 1.5. The steam forums seem full of conflicting data and misinformation...

edit: So I procrastinated my studies a bit and dug around a bit for more info. It seems steam is just fine as long as I get the U-boat missions which include the patch to 1.5.

Yeah. You need 1.5 to mod the game.

Started my first patrol today! Nothing to throw fishes at yet but i nearly got kamikazied on the way in, had to fumble the controls to crash dive and evade. Luckily no damage taken, now the hunt begins

I am really enjoying the sim thus far, but I have been plagued by completely random CTDs.... I have absolutely no idea what to troubleshoot for due to the randomness. I have already done the large address aware fix and it did seem to make the game perform smoothly.

Mods I am running

RFB 2.0
RFB april patch
RSRDC - RFB
RSRDC patch v5xx
SAP .5 for RFB RSRDC
ship info RFB
ship info RFB RSRDC

I used to have a problem with a lot of the textures being white followed by a crash(only upon first loading in never during), but that has not occurred since I made the large address aware fix. Now I only CTD randomly....frustrating especially when it happens right after a successful attack.
