Kids in the US are lucky.

They take their toy guns or bended sticks, point at one another and go bang.

We in Europe played swordfights. A sword hit was simulated by an actual hit with a stick (or worse)

Some of the stuff on that website looks pretty cool. Wish they had that when I was a kid.
