Maybe by you, but I'm surprised that a bloke with the 3 lions tattooed on his arm would diminish the efforts of his team in this way. An Ashes series is an Ashes series regardless of how long its been between them. The teams don't see this series as being unimportant and neither do thousands of supporters on both sides.

On the actual cricket, its good to see our bowlers doing well and the pommy batsmen crumbling, but I don't think our mob has the ticker to win the series despite being hopeful that they will. Our batting top order has been way too fragile for too long. I still think I'll be buying in July regardless of the outcome of this match.

I'm off to Goa in a fortnight...the curry is much more appealing.

They'll need one to deliver my naan to the table but I may have spoken too early because the wifes employers have just told her "No holidays allowed during the month of December" which means I may yet lose the £200 deposit
