I think it gets alot of criticism but i kinda like it. Reminds me of a bigger, badder ironclad. Still cant beat the beauty of an Iowa though.

The Iowa is a thing of real beauty...bested only by an Alaska

I must admit I was thinking the same thing when I looked at it...a sort of 21st century Virginia.

Among all the new features and gadgets and radar camouflage, you should have a look at the surface shape, as well as the size of the subsurface hull in comparison.
I would not want to be aboard this during a real storm

So, confirming that it is, indeed an ironclad.

That really does seem top heavy(just like the USN) I wonder if they bothered to test it, something like that Spanish submarine that's too heavy might be about to happen. I'd rather they gave me the oldest ship in the fleet over that "thing". Well not the oldest, who wouldn't take USS Constitution she's a beaut!

Not me. Commanding Old Ironsides is pretty much a shore berth, a figurehead job. There is an army of preservationists and historians overseeing every plank and bolt on her so all the skipper does is constant Dog and Pony shows throughout the year broken by just one quick turn around Boston harbor pushed by tugs and with a main deck awash with brass and politicians.
