Apparently, the Dev Team does not believe you, Seeadler. All it tells me is that I made the right decision and that if the Devs are going to start calling people liars, I need to stay as far away from them as possible.

Dear HinrichSchwab,

I have read the post about this in the forum and I don't know where that player got his numbers from. But I can assure you that the English and German versions are exactly the same. Crash dive is normal dive + full speed in the current version, no matter which language you have selected. If you don't like the current amount of details for the simulation, maybe you check back in a while to see if we have implemented the missing feature in a later version.

Kind regards,

I know, they also do not believe me after my report, that the British naval base "Rosyth" is located in Scotland at the Firth of Forth. They put Rosysth in the south at the Thames Estuary. Or Saint Nazaire, La Rochelle and Bordeaux, all locations are placed wrong (all 200km too far south)

*facepalm*

After hearing that, I feel stupid for giving the game and the Devs a chance.

Today I add two videos to the thread, perhaps the BlueByte support recognize this way that the devs made a difference between normal and crash dive (at least in the German version)

The problem is, the support is done by BlueByte from Düsseldorf/Germany, but the devs are working at Sproing Studios in Vienna/Austria

Its not until you fire up SH3 again that you realise how **** SHO is. This game will fail within weeks of it going live. I won't invest anymore time in it. They failed when they didn't get a decent team of english moderators in the game and on the forums answering our questions.

Most of the people who want to play this game will already have seen the beta. By the time its finished they would have lost all the respect and the potential customers they so desperately needed.

Whoever green lit this project should be fired. Even if it was the best thing since sliced bread any intelligent person would see it cannot sustain a profit in such a niche sector of gaming genres.

Guys, you know that if you keep saying bad things about that game , they will make you wait longer in the waiting room, allowing you to shift the thinking mode to POSITIVE Attitude!....

I've heard they have started to make a list!

I wouldn't go that far. SHO has potential. At the very least, it appears that "free to play, pay to win" is curtailed at this point. What irked me, and is the reason I left, is the fact that support doesn't listen very well to complaints that are from bugs that should have never made it past the alpha phase. Also, comparing SH3 and SHO is apples and oranges. SHO was never meant to be the full-blown simulator that SH3 is. Were it not for the crash dive issue and the rather arrogant way that "support" handled my citation thereof, I would still be playing.
