How can anyone think the Bungo is shallow? I run up the center and there is plenty of depth to avoid getting hit. I have been up there way pass the Saganoseki Peninsula and Sadamisaki Peninsula have never been sunk by Pete. Most times I never even see or heard him. Where is everyone seeing him? I normally run the surface up to about 10-8000 yards from shore using TMO and RSRD

According to this chart, http://www.charts.noaa.gov/NGAViewer/97278.shtml, there is a sweet 100 meter area at the mouth of the straights. That is where I like to go.

Maybe if you stay where its deep but once you go up into the strait it's not deep.Maybe 200 feet at the most?
