Welcome aboard Andromeda!
 With your head in the stars, I think you'll do nicely for celestial navigation. I think it'll be easy while on the surface. It gets a little challenging while submerged. And wet too. The little wrench on the upgrade screen I think is a TMO only thing. On the US side, you only get "Measure 32 paint scheme." On the German side, you get a few more choices as they become available.
