Hi all
I have just installed GWX and NYGM following the correct method and run them once at menu level to create the folders in my docs. I have installed sh3 commander but when i try to run it it is looking for the stock installation folder that should be in my docs if I had run the stock version which I haven't. I currently have two folders in my docs and they are GWX and NYG created by using Multiple sh3. Do I have to run the stock game and create sh3 folder in docs? Basically what do I do next? This is frustrating as I used to know how to do it. I seem to remember having to change the target path or something along those lines but I can't get into a position to do that. Sorry title should read GWX not HWX

In answer to my own question yes you do need to run the vanilla copy once to create sh3 in my docs. When you start sh3 commander you can then point it to the folder of your choice.

also you will want to have the extra commander files for each megamod. you can copy the SH3 commander files and have an commander for each megamod
