That Co2 bug is a stinker!

I mentioned I had it once, and like you, I couldn't/didn't do anything about it. The game ended with the death screen and I was helpless to do anything else. Seems if it happens again, the correct response is to "Save" your game, exit, restart, then reload the save game point. Gamer's say that will correct the bug. I don't know, its not happened to me since the last time.

Why it happens.....what triggers it? Is still unclear.

Thanks, CS. Yep, I'm relaxed about it now that I know that there is an on-the-fly work-around that can be used if it ever pops up again. I would be fairly confident that there is a game bug that doesn't 'accept' the 'switch' to being surfaced, so it fails to switch off the CO2 clock of death.

Any vehicle worth it's salt has it's endearing idiosyncrasies.

Cheers

Gryff

SH5 code was built on top of SH4 code and this bug was present in SH5. The problem is a bit is not being reset. I patched it out in SH5. So yes, your assumption is correct

TDW, any interest in doing a patch for SH4? My SH4 copy is not a steam version, so I could actually use it, if you made one, which would be awesome.

None. I'm working on SH5. You really should check out SH5 with all my patches I made for it currently All the stock bugs have been eliminated and I've added lots of new things to the game. I'm still developing patches for it too SH5 has SO much potential that I'm just starting to tap into it...Took me over 2 years to decode most of the game so that I can do what I want with it.

Check out my SH5.exe patches to fix bugs and add functionality thread in the SH5 mods forum to see what I've done to the game thus far.

Have you added the Gato class to it?

I use many of your mods for sh5. I would love to use your patcher but my sh5 is a steam version. I just can't wrap my head around paying ubi for the same game twice just to use your patcher. Guess I'm out of luck til I change my mind.
