Default Corrupted

Sometimes saved-game files get corrupted. In my experience this can be caused by quitting out of a career game, then loading up and playing a single mission or war patrol scenario without having quit out of the game back to the desktop, then relaunching the game. I suppose there are other factors that can cause saved-game file corruption, but I haven't experienced them. Some players have also reported that not over-writing previous saved-game files helps them prevent problems loading or running saved-games. I have never had a problem loading or running over-written saved-game files myself. Your system software is very similar to mine, but that being the case other players have made me aware of the fact that due to the many variables that may cause problems with the game it is impossible to predict what problems may develop or what solutions or work-arounds may be effective in addressing them.
