If not, go to Silent Hunter 5/support/GameUpdater/ and clic GU

Generic Patcher isn't a mod, but can be used as a mod if you want to (with NewUIs v7.4, activate it first in your list!).
Otherwise, best is to run it as stand alone (but with NewUIs v7.4, you'll have to copy/paste NewUIs TDWFileUtils.dll and TDWUtils.dll in the patcher to run it!)

Generic Patcher is essential to play SH5!
