That is highly unfortunate. That bridge looks to be at least a 100' drop. Do they know the cause? I'm just curious because I've investgated or witnessed a number of MC accidents and, in almost every case, it wasn't the motorcyclist's fault. I have found that bikers are usually much safer drivers than vehicle motorists.
Glad to hear it wasn't you.

I've seen two bikers killed. Worse was they had concrete carriers working on highway right up to the line. The biker was in right lane, big rig in left. Truck came over, biker had no where to go. .....

Be careful on those things. We had a Sr. in high school here last year doing tricks on his, wrecked and died. Real nice kid, just acting stupid and paid for it.

...and yet the average guys on bicycles are just the opposite. Maybe getting a DUI should ban you from all owner operated transportation with wheels.

We're glad it wasn't you Neal. Do you often cross that bridge? Bet it gets pretty windy up at the top.

Is it bad that "Blood Upon the Risers" was the first thing that ran through my mind?

its not the bike that's dangerous its the idiots that keep pulling out and cutting us off.

been thru about a dozen ditches and yards myself but I was always lucky enough to have "some" type of exit path
