=Moonlight;1956354]Use Notepad.[/QUOTE] Thank you moonlight, I was able to open it but there wasn't any MaxPettyOfficer or MaxOfficer positions located there, now where or how would I cange the crew size to obtain those personnel with the specific qualifications needed? Also I'm still at a loss on the addition of the stern deck gun and it not showing on the crew window (F10) just the bow gun and nothing showing how to access it. Still in a quandary as to what I need to do besides scream. If you can help in any way please do... Thanks for the assist.

Open each submarines upc and add the 2 officer lines and save it, there are different numbers for each boat so edit accordingly. This example was added by the Crew Rank Fix by fred8615, download it from here http://www.silenthuntermods.com/foru...sg3300#msg3300 and have a read of it or use it. As for your deck gun issue i have no idea.

Crew Upgrade and Deck Gun issues
Again thank you MoonLight I got the mod and followed the guidance for replacing the new UPC with the changes in the DATA file then restarted the program. Unfortunately I still got the same message saying I have too many officers/Petty officers so now I don't now what went wrong, I checked the file and it reflects the changes but the program doesn't seem to pick them up. Any suggestions other than Uninstalling the program and reinstalling?

Crew and Deck Gun Issues
Once more I must thank you, Fireftr18 for all your assistance, unfortunately the war will most likely be over before I'll be fortunate enough to get a new boat but I can always start a new career. Your support is greatly appreciated, wish I were as knowledgable and many here. Again Thanks
