Cybermat47 was right to ask which game. guess Bismark Sea gave that away. I am playing SH IV, not V. Still, sunk a ship less than 2 NM from star, still no acknowledgment of completing patrol parameter.
Should I repost this thread in SH VI? Anyone here know if I'm just SOL because of a bug? Sorry for the confusion.

If you're using OHII, you can sink one ship in your designated patrol area that should be enough to meet the requirements. Make sure it's a Passenger/Troop transport or a Freighter. As said, anything "on the way too it" doesn't count. It just adds to your total tonnage count... which is ok. Don't pass anything up that's worth while. I leave those puny Coastal boats alone.
