Please send a processing fee of $29.95 to Jimbuna and he will be sure to send you a full refund for your GWX purchase in 48 to 96 weeks.

That being said, it is possible that Sailor Steve (the Grammar Nazi) may first process your post AND field a reminder that all good things come to an end.

Life experience says the good things may last as much as we want. I guess I now understand why GWX is now just a legend.

Try assembling a group of modders to work together for free, in their spare time, on a large project that takes several years to complete, and then ask them if they want to do it all over again, and see what answer you get.

They've done it before they can do it again.

They can but, the question is, do they want to? I was here during the GW/GWX development period, and I think they all feel once is enough for a major mod project. There have been a few smaller mods put out by individual members of the team but, I seriously doubt we will see the team reassemble for a large update of GWX.

As it was with GWX4 project, it was like "runaway to bushes" to me and a closing scene of all their work from this point. No GWX4 for SH4 not even GWX5 for SH5. GWX just sank in the abyss, can you ask yourself why ? I believe you may only guess, but the right answer is up to GWX members who runs silent afterall.

And that as well as what Privateer and Steve have already posted is the current definitive position...one that will almost certainly never change.

And most of them learned from scratch. We're all waiting for you to start the next new supermod.

Then you can devote years of hard work, anguish, trials, tribulations, infighting, backbiting and heated battles with other mod teams (along with some good times, cameraderie and memories), just to have some arrogant jackwagon come along and tell you that you didn't do it right.

Professionals of their work can easily live along with all those human emotions as side effects and still follow their ploted course, to what they believe that is truth of history. But I believe that the loss of wish to continue this project is the major key not to continue GWX at all.
You can try to prove me wrong on this, but I have a doubt you'll have enough fuel to run this disscussion to continue.

Great. Nobody says you have to use it. Likewise nobody says you can't say what you want about it. But you are insulting good people because they don't live up to your imaginary standards, and it's not going to do you any good. They're not going to get back together simply because you think they should.

There's nothing to prove, one way or the other. It's a matter of opinion. Yours is that it's unfinished, and that they are bad for not doing what you think they should have done. Mine is that you are beating a very dead horse and trying to shame people into doing something that is never going to happen.

I too am disappointed, because SH4 didn't get finished. That is what I really wanted to see. I also realize that it's not going to be, and there's nothing I can do about it. So I let it go, rather than insult the people who worked on it. The only full-war u-boat mod for SH4 is Operation Monsun. I wish Lurker had spent more time on it, but he didn't. There are several problems which annoy me, but I can't do a thing about it, short of learning how to fix them myself. If I'm not willing to do that, then I have no right to whine about it.

On the other hand the U-Boat HAHD project is looking like it might be even better than GWX. We'll see if it is, if and when it's ever finished. Then I hope they'll move on to do the same for SH4, as they said they might.

At least with SH3 you don't have to live with a mod you don't like. Try NYGM. Try LSH3. Try WAC.

But my challenge still stands. Rather than whine and cry about how they let you down, why don't you put your money where your mouth is and make a mod you can be proud of? Until then, rather than talk about the fuel I don't have to run this discussion, why don't you do something worthwhile?
