Anybody has the Traveller mod?

What is the Traveller Mod?? i never heard of it!

I think it tweaks the damage system in a way that makes previously unrepairable damage repairable, so that you can still make your engines work at a minimum level and go back, little by little, to your base. That is, if your sub is not completely destroyed, which can happen, too.

He left and took all his mods down. It's a great mod, although it needs a lil tweaking to aircraft. I asked once long ago if I could upload it again, but he never responded. I'll see if I can get in touch with him by email.

It's not for everyone, but the most realistic damage model I've seen. Why you can repair certain items that become 100%, others you can't and it can take days. You can also sit on the ocean floor without taking damage, but you can also sink even if you make it to the surface.

It's much more than a damage mod, many great concepts, such as certain planes will shadow you.

in a situation like this he took them down because he no longer wished for others to be able to use his mods.

in that context i think it would be wrong to upload them here or at some other silent hunter site because it goes against his wishes, in the same token i dont see a problem if you uploaded it to YOUR page at a site like gamefront or other site like that because you are sharing a mod from your own files and its not a silent hunter website thats hosting them.

all this being said, it is just worrying about being respectful and polite to a modder who felt he had issues with "some" memebers and because of it he has left the community but there is nothing stopping you from doing anything you want to with the files you have

I have the complete Traveller pack (the base mod and the LST submod), installed and working fine (without CTDs), in TMO 25 plus RSRDC.

OTC isn´t compatible with Traveller mod because the modified camera.dat file, among others files.

If it is possible, I can upload the complete mod in my Mediafire account.

Actually, I think it´s the "Take me home" traveller´s mod the one I´m looking for, the one that allows to repair the engines to a minimum level so you can "creep" back to base...

After reading the doc. file included with his mod, it does state.

I am open to any suggestions or comments regarding this mod. It's ok to upload and host this mod, but please do not modify it or take credit for it. This mod may not be used for any commercial or financial purposes. Thank you.

The mod is great, but he still needed to tweak a few issues, but obvious he left. I guess it would be OK for anyone to upload it. Since he left, I've tweaked several of the files related to aircraft and a few other issues.

When he left here, he did continue to update it and post it at Ubi. The last version was 2.02, so that's what needs to be uploaded. Be glad to do it or email it to anyone.

So, after reading Webster and Armistead posts, and without Traveller's effective permission, i will not upload any Traveller's mods on subsim.com.
