Yes, I'm positive there was only the logo
Or am I mistaken?
Anyone?

extremely realistic IMO
Like the darker versions.

To Zeiss logo: i think they never placed it 90° (anti-)clockwise.

At least we are sure that 'CARL ZEISS - JENA' logo is correct. What about the 'Carl Zeiss' labelling on the left of "stock" manos scopes?

good point there, gap.

If I google "Carl Zeiss" and then picture search you find a lot of lenses for cameras.
It seems that inside the lenses you only find the wording Carl Zeiss as in manos scopes.

Maybe the logo was only used on flat surfaces, like e.g. on the front of the binoculars

Okay, I think I got an answer to our questions. Look at this webpage displaying a 1916 Carl Zeiss binocular telescope.

This is its brandmark and production nmber:

...but the caption says it was pressed below the right ocular, rather than on the ocular itself. Looking closely at the next image you can see its exact position (on top of the left eyepiece, since the persicope is photographed upside-down):

From what I can see, it seems tha at least on this model there wasn't any logo nor lettering pressed around the lenses.
