Haven't they already done that when they registered to vote? There's certainly something wrong with imposing a "solution" to a problem that doesn't exist.

Which problem doesn't exist Mookie? Voter fraud or the 2 people in America who don't have some form of identification?

Gee, wouldn't it be convenient if we found a way to prevent these likely Democratic voters from voting? Hmmm... If you're registered to vote, your identity has already been verified. Going beyond that to requiring ID at the polls is simply voter suppression wrapped up in the guise of solving a problem that doesn't exist.

That the same Brennan Center funded by George Soros? Real trustworthy research source you got there Mookie. You might as well quote the DNC directly.
Quote:
Besides, since your party seems to be so good at voter registration drives (including professional football players and dead people), why can't you people stage a "Get the picture ID" drive if it's such a worry to you? To get a picture id in Texas costs only about 5 bucks. I'm sure that Billionare Soros could pony up the $50 bucks necessary to get everyone in Texas without any form of ID registered and voting Dem in no time.

As for conspiracy theories, well they're just another way of looking at reality. They are often exaggurations of the truth exaggerated to unbelievable porportions. They're not all wrong. Believing in alternative explanations DOES NOT make you an idiot, as long as it's within reason. Conspiracy theories are contentious, which is why there was a dispute in the talk page on their laundry list of them. I despise Wikipedia and its lists of stuff. I think it's draconian, stupid, and gives people something to complain about. Conspiracy theories. Not all of them are completely false, but you have to be skeptical of info on the internet. Even from Wikipedia. Wikipedia is well known for not being accurate among internet users. Wikipedia is not always accurate and never check. Info from the net is never always accurate from Daily Kos, Huffington Post, any of them. Blogs are useless and unrealiable like Glenn Beck's The Blaze or Daily Kos the liberal/conservative blogs aren't that great. I love conservatives because they are the most independent free-thinkers out there and they are tough in standing up for their nation and people and they fight against what people think of them and they are generally freer, unless you're not one of them. The political system generally sucks, liberal/conservative. Ron Paul is the best. I am heavily conservative and partly libertarian, somewhat liberal.
You call whatever label you want to. I do not care at all. Besides, you should look up that the Jumah prayer has been cancelled amid protests. It is no longer there. No the Islamic/Muslim threat IS NOT A CONSPIRACY THEORY. I wish that people would quit presenting people criticizing these clowns who wish to turn our nation into an Islamic theocracy as "kooky conspiracy theorists that believe in lies and conspiracy theories" like the SPLC which shuts down anyone that dares disagree with them or criticize these people because the race of these people somehow makes their religion above criticism and put you on a list of dangerous people if you dare to say anything about the Muslims and the documented proof from statements made by the religious people that want to do these things. The SPLC shuts down debate and calls anyone an extremist racist that says anything, when they are constrained about their own ideas about how things are and they are constrainted people that are pretentious that think that they are better than everyone else. I am against racism, but despise the Gestapo like tactics of SPLC. Conspiracy theories=alternative reality. You have to separate the wheat from the chaff. To separate the plausible from the implausible. Something that's a conspiracy, could be a wrapped-up confusing way complex version of somebody trying to con someone. Conspiracy theorists are con artists looking for people to fool to make a buck, to get attention for their wild claims. I bet deep-down they believe that "HA HA I fooled another sucker!" I do not like people like David Icke or Jim Marrs. They are total idiots of the worst kind. We must separate ourselves from them. BTW, I AM NOT A CRAZY CONSPIRACY THEORISTS, I just want to WITHIN REASON, look for alternative unexplored ways to get to the truth, without being hindered by Wikipedia all the time. BTW, they label anyone a conspiracy theorist crazy person that does not agree with the mainstream and is highly cynical of the government. What sane person wouldn't be, after 9/11? I do not let the media define or label me or Wikipedia flay me alive. These people are arrogant people that ridicule those that do not think like they do. They are pretentious jerks and a bunch of self-righteous pretentious people like Michael Shermer for example REALLY annoy me. I am skeptic myself, though I am not a pretentious clown like Michael Shermer, who is a pompous little jerk. I am a skeptic that investigates the truth and looks at every possible angle, within reason and realism to get at the truth. I do very much believe in God, though I am not a fundamentalist. That's the funny thing about the liberals is that they make something like the Jumah thingy, then withdraw about 10 yards, the conservatives get a hold of it and fall into a pretentious snobby trap of theirs and they have another excuse to accuse conservatives of being "conspiracy theorists" and "conspiracy crackpots" just to exude how righteous they really are. It's a nbunch of pretentious snobbery nonsense. THEY BOTH ACCUSE EACH OTHER OF CONSPIRACY THEORIES AND THEORISTS! Conspiracy theory is a purely objective term and should be used with extreme caution. Always whenever someone has free thought or says something that does not agree with what they say or cause the establishment shills worry, they accuse them of being conspiracy theories to tarbrush them as kooks and nuts and all that. It's just a stupid way of shutting down debate on a subject. That's all. It's a bunch of crap, this conspiracy theory crap! You be the judge there. This is just a self-righteous confidence trick to make conservatives look like total idiots because they call out people on this or the far-left and its conspiracy theories. You have to be REALLY careful ABOUT ANYTHING you read on the net. Wikipedia is NOT A REALIBALE SOURCE OF INFO. It's OWN DISCLAIMER says that it is not supposed to be a primary source of information, TO BE CHECKED AGAINST OTHER SOURCES! ITS OWN DISCLAIMER SAYS THAT THE INFO CAN BE FAULTY! It's own disclaimer says that it is not to be used as a primary source of research and one should be skeptical OF ANY INFO on the net. If you're not, YOU SHOULD NOT even be on the net at all if you DO NOT HAVE ANY BASIC REASONING SKILLS as a person! My point! Conspiracy theories are not to some people and it's an objective term. Some say they're truth, some say not. I do not believe in aliens, Elvis being alive or read the National Enquirer or go on those kooky sites. BTW, go to godlikeproductions.com. It's a great site about this stuff on the subject. The believers in the theories defend them to the death! I do not really judge anyone based on this. I let people be people, no matter how stupid, dumb, ignorant, or unintelligent or intelligent they are. I do not care about anything on the net. I only visit historical sites like this one or never look up contentious historical subjects that I already know that are all screwed up on Wikipedia about the Soviet aggression and theft of Eastern Poland Kresy Lands for example. I ALWAYS USE OTHER SOURCES THEN Wikipedia. I block it from my search results because I do not like being distracted by Wikipedia and all that and I sift through my blocked results for Wikipedia when looking for other info sources. The pseudohistory article is a complete joke that ridicules revisionist historians in with the kooky UFO nut types like Giorgio Tsoukalos for example which is really ignorant an stupid. Ah, the pretentiousness of the wikipedia community that ridicules people that no follow their interpretations of history or anything like that, by a democratic mob of nobodies editing information that are uneducated on certain subjects is REALLY REALLY dangerous. Be careful about it. Thank you. Historical events are laced with conspiracies because some are mysteries that haven't been solved like TWA 800 or JFK assassination or the altenrative theories that are plausible, well-researched and within reasons, which Wikipidea lumps in with the idiots to prove how intellectual and smart they really are. When in fact, they're not. Please be skeptical of everything on the net and DHS branding people extremists because they are staunch extreme critics of the government and everything it does. Bullying people that do not fit the mainstream at all is typical of these pretentious clowns and because they do not listen to the mainstream media and the government. DHS labeles anyone an extremist like this. It's ridiculous and stupid. Not everyone who isn't mainstream is wrong or stupid. More self-righteous liberal and conservative establishmentarian pretentious arrogance. God, I'm so sick of it! Please discredit me if you think that I am an idiot! I am not! I AM NOT! I am just stating an opinion based on my cynical experiences with the web. I am NOT a kooky conspiracy theorist believing UFO nut, Elvis returns to earth and not dead, Illuminati proof gullible total idiot. I AM FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR FAR FAR MORE SMARTER than that. You'd have to do alot to try to fool me. I am someone that is NOT fooled easily. Just skeptical and cynical of reality, to make sure that everything is right with the world. If I see something wrong, I point it out and do not care what people think about it being wrong, stupid, ignorant or whatever. I just say it, because I am not a pansy constrained in his own perfect pretentious little holer-than-thou world like these clowsn are. I THINK AND HAVE A BRAIN AND IT'S FULLY FUNCTIONAL, unlike those clowns! Thank you and good night! Last edited by Patchman123; 08-31-12 at 12:14 AM. |

First: Wikipedia is an internationally constructed website, a free encyclopedia that anyone is free to edit. Nothing more. Second: If you want to talk about history, I suggest starting from the library of your nearest university instead of the Internet.
