It's obviously something simple to keep my Watch officer.Thank you for any assistance.Ray (x 7th Boat Sqdn Singapore)
Hi Ray and welcome aboard. You have done nothing wrong, the WO is just a lazy bum and needs kicking from his bunk to the bridge when you resurface. Just open the crew screen and you'll find him there drinking schnapps like as not.

Hi, i got few questions about SH3, sure they were asked before but I had not find it in forum, so... i drop it here =)

1. How to change key assignments in SH3?

2. How to export/import saved campaign from one pc to another? I have the game installed on Vista and my new one is running Win7.

Thanks

I'm playing SH3 with GWX3 and I wonder if getting my boat 'aground' on the bottom will save me from enemy sonars? It sure did IRL, but is implemented in SH3? And what about thermocline -- does it work in SH3?

Unfortunately, unmodded SH3 with GWX does not model hiding on the bottom. However, in the mods section Stiebler and Hsie have done some fantastic work with their gameplay and hardcode fixes for the game(including limited wolfpacks ). If I recall, Stiebler has done some modifications that will make it harder for escorts to pick you up in shallow water although not necessarily on the bottom.

There is a mod out there that will allow you to rest on the bottom and make repairs and such but will not allow you to "hide" on the bottom.

Search around in the SH3 Mods section.

As far as thermocline goes, if you are using it, SH3Commander simulates thermal layers.
