nVidia's 600 series video cards has adaptive v-sync that gets rid of the tearing problem now. It appears to be best if one does not enable v-sync in the game when using a 600 series card and adaptive v-sync.

Just use antilag at 38fps and you wont get the stuttering .

Yeah that's available in the latest 5xx series drivers as well, though I've had mixed results with it so far. Not thought to try it in SH5, tho FXAA works very well with it.

didn't catch that in the latest nVidia drivers. Now you got me curious (GTX590 here)
