Starting following F-1 as a kid after seeing the movie "Grand Prix" (1966?). At some point long ago I chose Maclaren to be "my team" through thick and thin. Happily, there's been more a lot more thick than thin over the years, so I can wait out the latest "meh" cycle. Something's out of alignment, and it isn't the chassis.
God help us all come the day that Ferrari finally gives Alonso a chassis worthy of his talent. I don't like the fellow very much, but as drivers go, I rank him among the very, very best ever to hold a Super License. The fricken' guy could finish in the points driving a three wheeled school bus with two flats. |
